Susan has been using QuickBooks since the 90s when she first took the floppy disk out of the green box and shoved it into the A drive. What a long way we’ve come since then! She has been named in the Top 100 of North American QuickBooks ProAdvisors nine times. She is currently a member of the Intuit Partner Council, a prestigious group of people who meet on the Intuit campus twice a year. She founded this firm fifteen years ago and loves helping business owners meet their goals and dreams by helping them with their financial data.

Amber joined Brilliant Numbers during the summer of 2023 after graduating with honors from
UNC-Chapel Hill. A native of North Dakota, she enjoys the milder climate of North Carolina,
hiking, and spending time on the coast with her husband and two children. She is certified in
QuickBooks Online and appreciates the ease of integrating new clients.

One of our brilliant team members, Rachel is advanced certified in QuickBooks Online, the software she loves because of so many features that help meet the individual needs of our clients. You may think numbers are easier to manage than people, but she believes that is not necessarily true! She has a love for hiking that grew from a summer spent with her grandmother taking her to National Parks around the country. She loves living in North Carolina with her wonderful family, but a mountain cabin beside a creek would be a great choice.

Since April 2021, Judy has been a member of our team. She holds Advanced Certification in QuickBooks Online, which she loves for the multiple ways of sorting reports. Her favorite movies are Sci-Fi, with a very special nod to Star Wars. In addition to reading and baking, she loves working on doll houses. She’s had two of them for over twenty years! Judy is an Army Veteran, which is how she met her husband in Germany, married him in Denmark, and then had two sons with him. One is working on his Eagle rank in Boy Scouts before he joins the Army next year. The younger one is the Cat Whisperer, loved by all three of their cats. She’s been to a lot of places in this world, and her favorite is the mountains.

Christine joined the team in January 2022. She’s an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and loves how user-friendly it is. She is our go-to for all things Tech! Her favorite hobby is reading, but she also loves a good romantic comedy movie. Before moving to North Carolina, she lived in several states and calls herself a wanderer. We hope she doesn’t wander too far away from us!

Amy joined us in February 2021. She is certified in QuickBooks Online and loves the ease of integration with other software. In addition to bookkeeping, she takes care of our client communications. She recently discovered that she is descended from both Daniel Boone and Buffalo Bill Cody which inspires her to channel her inner pioneer spirit, embracing new adventures and exploring new areas. She’s searching for new museums, lovely restaurants, classic movies, and local jazz bands. She was born in Maine, grew up in Florida, spent a decade in San Francisco, then back to Florida after stops in New York City and Virginia. We are delighted to have her in North Carolina now!
